John D. Martin was born on October 11, 1929 in Rochester, New York to his parents Rolland C. and Bertha (Bennett) Martin. He passed away on April 2, 2017 in Lehigh Acres, Florida at the age of 87.
John is survived by his daughters Diane Todd of Ocala, Cynthia Martin of Inverness; brother Rolland (Corrine) Martin of California; grandsons Aaron Cline of Ocala, Christopher Hannett of Naples; and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
John was a member of AA for many years & reached out to help the many friend's of "Bill" that he could. He retired from the City of Hallandale as Chief Electrical Inspector and retired to N. Fort Myers for the remainder of his life. He loved morning walk's, feeding hungry cat's and eating daily at his favorite diner. He will be missed.
