Robert Rue Barber

Robert Rue Barber, affectionately known as Bob, passed away, leaving behind a tapestry of cherished memories and a legacy of love.  Bob was born on April 27, 1938, and departed from this world on April 15, 2024.  He was a beloved husband to Betty Barber, whose unwavering support and love sustained him throughout his life’s journey.

Bob’s family was his pride and joy.  He leaves behind his children Pamela and Scott, along with their spouses Jeff and Mimi, who brought endless joy to his life.  Although his son Robert preceded him in death, his memory lives on, carried by his devoted wife Ruth.

Bob’s family extended beyond bloodlines, embracing a blended family with open arms.  He was the guiding light to his stepchildren Deann, Juanita, Jason and Olivia, alongside their spouses and an extended network of love.

The joy of Bob’s life was found in the laughter and love of his grandchildren and step-grandchildren.  He leaves behind Paul and Kathryn, Philip, Garrett, Grant, Ian and Annie, Kourtney, Paige, Colin, Emilia, Jocelyn, Jaylin, Ashlynn, Kennedy, Schuyler and Jovi, each a testament to his nurturing spirit.

Bob’s great-granddaughter Vera, and step-great-grandsons Hunter and Haylen, were the apple of his eye, each cherished and adored.

In addition to his human family, Bob leaves behind his beloved canine companions, Abby and Rosie, who brought him endless love, joy and companionship.

Bob’s life was marked by love, laughter, and boundless generosity.  His memory will forever be a beacon of light in the hearts of all who knew him.  May he rest in peace, knowing that his love will continue to echo through the lives of those he touched.
