Theodore H. Feindt Jr.
Theodore H. Feindt Jr., 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2017 in Fort Myers, Florida after a long heroic battle with cancer. He bravely participated in numerous clinical trials to further research in hopes of helping future generations.

Ted, as he liked to be called, was born in Newark, NJ in 1939. He graduated high school from St. Benedict's Preparatory School in Newark in 1957. In 1961 he graduated from St. Vincents College, LaTrobe, PA.

He joined the United States Air Force after college and became a navigator serving 6 years on active duty for the Military Air Transport based in Dover, Delaware. In 1967 he joined the New Jersey Air National Guard 150th Squadron based at McGuire Air Force Base. Ted retired his navigator wings in 1989 from the 150th Air Refueling Squadron. Many of his fondest memories came from working with his fellow aviators.

Ted started working for the Internal Revenue Service as a revenue agent in the Newark District in 1967. He was promoted to a Group Manager and then to Chief, Review Staff. He retired in 2002 as an International Program Manager in the Retail, Food and Pharmaceutical LMSB program.

Ted dearly loved his family, fine dining, great conversation, history, photography, golf and the U.S. Air Force.

He was predeceased by his parents Theodore H Feindt Sr. and Elizabeth Feindt, and a brother Edward Feindt.

Tes is survived by his wife Marilyn, children: Kathryn Mautner (Michael), Krista Karagias, and Theodore H. Feindt III (Gaye). His wonderful grandchildren Erica Leone (James), Kelly Karagias, James Karagias, Theodore H. Feindt IV, and Zachary Feindt. Ted also leaves behind a lasting legacy in 2 great grandsons Noah Byrnes and Joshua Leone. He leaves numerous nieces and nephews.

A mass will be held in Fort Myers, Florida at St. John XXIII Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 10:30 AM. Visitation and interment will be held in New Jersey. Details to follow.
