Thoralf Ottman Firing born August 2, 1986, aged 31, died unexpectedly on Friday September 29, 2017. He leaves behind loving parents Mark and Linda Firing, beloved brother Kendall Wilson Firing (Brittany Rain Firing), nephew Sir R. Corbitt Firing, Aunts LaDonna Barnard, Anna Kelley, Linda Clark Corbitt, uncles Larry Bryant Barnard (Debby), Martin Martel Weit (Dawn), Jeffrey William Weit (Paula), Kenneth Henry Weit, Jack Corbitt (Jane), cousins Shelsea Smith, Brandon Weit, Denver Weit, Bryant Barnard (Heather), Leann Villegas (Sal) Vivian Kelley, Michelle Surnam (Jim), Thomas Surnam (Angela), Jimmy Reed Campbell (Kim), Candy Pitts, Christine Johnson (Arthur), Susan O’Connor (Ted), Jacqueline Guglielmo (Joseph), and Jennifer Carrol (Sean). Second cousins Andrew, Sydney and Lauren Platz, Harper and Eli Barnard, Alex, Matthew, Wesley and Lucas Surnam, Erica, Amelia, Adam and Afton Pitts, and many other cousins. Thor also leaves a host of loving friends especially Kyle Heuer. He was preceeded in life by his beloved little brother Odin Runar Firing. Thoralf was an avid lover of music, both Classic Rock and Classical. He was a gifted violinist and attended Cypress Lake Center for the Performing Arts in the junior and senior years of high school performing in many events. It was like hearing the New York Philharmonic when those young men and women performed. He was very passionate about art, especially admiring the work of Salvador Dali. He was a kind, loving soul and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 14th at the Harvey Englehardt Funeral Home located at 1600 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Thor was a lover of all things floral so please send an arrangement of your choice to Harvey Englehardt Funeral Home or make a donation in his remembrance to the Cypress Lake High School Center for the Performing Arts located in Fort Myers. Celebration of Life Memorial to be held at a later date for Thoralf Ottman and Odin Runar.
