Veronica “Ronnie” Anna Strickland July 24, 2017

“Ronnie” Strickland passed away July 24, 2017 after a long and painful illness. She was born June 7, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland to Harry and Louise Woppman. She was married to John Worley Strickland February 20, 1970. Ronnie was a devoted wife and mother to Cheryl Anne Gaultney of Churchville, Maryland; R. Scott Mergenthaler of Easton, Maryland; and Gregory Mergenthaler of Denver, North Carolina; and 2 stepchildren: Michael Strickland of Leesburg, Virginia and Kathryn Dere of Orlando, Florida. Ronnie has 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. There will be no service at this time.
