Austin Tyler Pry

March 3, 1993 - October 24, 2019

Austin Pry of Orlando, Florida, passed away on October 24, 2019, at the age of 26. He was born on March 3, 1993, in Fort Myers, Florida, the son of Kerry Pry and Dr. Richard Pry. He is survived by his brother Cody Pry.

He is also survived by loving aunts and uncles: Bart Griffeth (Suzy Heggen), Curt Griffeth (Amy Wentling), Ross Griffeth (Tami), DeeAnn Wilcox ( Randy), and Paula Griffeth, James Pry, Mark Pry (Bernadette).


Austin’s life was influenced significantly by close family ties with his cousins: Matt Koster, Cara Green, Rachelle Hanacek, Margaret Griffeth, Freddy Griffeth, Anna Fite, Aimee Ball, Alicia Pry, Isabella Wilcox, Samson Griffeth and Luke Green.

He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Frederick Griffeth and Joyce Hanshue and his cousin, Scott Koster and by his Paterrnal Grandparents, Daniel Pry and Mary Pry, Aunt Elaine Pry and his infant cousin Christopher Pry.

Austin graduated from Bishop Verot High School in 2011 and the University of Central Florida in 2015, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in International and Global Studies.

Austin pursued his professional career as an employee of New Source Corporation , an AeroSpace and Defense supplier of Raw Materials. (Over 100 emails have been received by his company expressing condolences as they acknowledged his professionalism and pleasure that they had in working first hand with Austin.)

Austin will be remembered for his kind, loving demeanor, his sense of humor and especially for his overall exuberance for life. He treasured his family, as well as his friends.

He was an avid sports fan. Austin was a follower of University of Central Florida Knights, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Orlando Magic — to name a few and he always looked forward to Fantasy Football.

Although he is gone, he will always be in our hearts...until we meet again.
