Carol grew up in Scranton with her loving parents. After being an honor student at Scranton Technical High School, her career began as an executive secretary at the International Salt Company where she met the love of her life, John David Specker. Carol then went on to help Dave create an international training and development company, PDC & Associates, where she served as the CFO and vice president of administration.
Carol was an avid reader and loved spending time with her husband traveling around the world and playing MahJong. She and her husband, Dave, loved boating and spending time with their various groups of friends from the Buffalo Launch Club, “The SAGOS” (Seniors Against Growing Old), and their wonderful friends within their community in Florida.  Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Gretchen Griffiths, of Scranton, Pa.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, David Specker, and their two children, Dana Specker Watts and Scott (Sharon) Specker, and their six grandchildren, Griffin, Ethan, Dylan, Evan, Avery and Luke.
