Dean W. Hartman

Dean W. Hartman, age 72, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday 9/16/18 at his home in Buckingham, FL surrounded by his wife of 52 years, Patricia, son, Dean Todd Hartman, brother Sheldon and wife, Sharon, as well as his cat, James. Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Peter M. and Emma Hartman and several step brothers and sisters.

Dean served as a Lutheran Brotherhood Representative in Southwest Florida and in Lancaster, PA for 35 years. Dean graduated from Manheim Township High School in 1964 and the American College of Financial Services, Bryn Mawr, PA. He earned degrees as a Financial Insurance Counselor (FIC), Chartered Financial Consultant (C.H.F.C.) and Chartered Life Underwriter (C.L.U.), as well as Life Map. Throughout the years he earned numerous awards and recognitions and was a member of the Prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). He retired from Lutheran Brotherhood (now Thrivent) in 2002.

Dean truly enjoyed traveling in his motor home, boating and his classic cars especially his beloved red 1965 Chevelle SS. His love of adventure took him on numerous trips to Hawaii, Europe and throughout the United States.

Dean will be fondly remembered for his love of family and his Lord and Savior. He always had the ability to make everyone laugh with his humor and always had a smile on his face and Eagles music playing.

Celebration of his life will be on Saturday, 9/29/18, 11:00 A.M. at St. Michael Lutheran Church, Fort Myers, FL.
