Donald Jay Southwick

Donald J. Southwick, 91, of Ft. Myers passed away peacefully Wednesday May 30, 2018. He was born in Somerville, NJ to the late Bessie Moke and Rueben Southwick. Don joined the US Navy after high school and then graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s Degree. He moved his family to Ft. Myers in 1965. Don loved to sing, play the Banjo and piano, fly airplanes, and build things. He will be dearly remembered and missed by family and friends.
Survivors include his son Bruce (Judi) Southwick of Arcadia, daughter in law Jane Southwick, of Ft. Myers, grandchildren; John, Jenna and Dustin Southwick, and Russell (Christina) Southwick, great grandchildren; Preston, Mia, and Chance. He was preceded in death by his son David Southwick.
