Earl C. Williams died peacefully on Wednesday February 20, 2019 at age 92.
We will remember our dad for his love of country. He joined the US Navy as a teen and served on CVE92 USS Windham Bay in the Pacific during WW2. During his service, his ship was awarded one silver and one bronze battle star.
We will remember our dad for his strong work ethic. He retired from Cummins Engine Company in Columbus, Indiana after over 32 years of service. He always provided for his family, sometimes working more than one job. He made us feel we could count on him.
Most especially, we will always remember our dad for his devotion to his beloved wife, Ann. They were married for over 70 years. She was the light of his life. Ann passed away in November of 2018.
We love our dad and will be ever grateful for everything he taught us and for everything he sacrificed for us.
Earl is survived by his children Randall, Kathy, Jeffrey, Karen and many grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.
