Edward L Wessel

Edward L. Wessel, 88, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away June 18, 2019. He was born September 8, 1930 in Duluth, Minnesota to Rabbi Harvey E. Wessel and Charlotte Lugoff Wessel.
Ed attended the University of Texas and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Ed worked as a manufacturer’s representative and founded Ed Wessel & Associates with his wife, Judy which grew to include all three of his children.
An avid golfer, Ed belonged to golf clubs in Dallas, Chicago and Fort Myers and was club champion at all three. He achieved 8 hole-in-ones.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Judy Wessel; his children Sherry (Lon) Jacobson, Michael (Christi) Wessel and Scott (Nancy) Wessel; and his six grandchildren Jeremy Tatelman, Taylor Wessel, Allie Wessel, Morgan Wessel, Corey Wessel and Casey Wessel.
The family invites friends to a gathering at 9:30 AM with a Memorial Service at 10 AM on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Harvey-Engelhardt Funeral and Cremation Services, 1600 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida.
