Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Hart crossed her final finish line on November 17, 2020 with her soulmate and life partner, Paul Driscoll by her side. Liz was born in Coventry, England on May 10,1955. She was the 1st of 4 daughters born to Hilda Patricia Ivy and Stuart Edward Arnold. She graduated from Bath Nursing College and moved to Fort Myers on July 4, 1979. Liz was an excellent nurse and beloved colleague of many within the Lee Health System where she spent most of her career caring for patients and collecting stories… Liz was an animal lover and accomplished equestrian. Training, showing and fostering Arabian’s was one of her many passions. She discovered a joy and penchant for running. She completed many events including road races, trail runs and half marathons. She also loved to travel, Motown and opera. In the rest of her spare time, she enjoyed kayaking, gardening, walking on the beach, coffee with friends and most of all spending time with her family. After a valiant 3 year battle with cancer, she leaves us her children, Jon and Rachel Hart, daughter-in-law Sarah and grandson Vincent. She was a cherished sister/sister-in law/aunt to the families of Pat Newman, Kate Hill and Anna Cannon. Her smile could light up a room and her laughter could fill it. Hers was a life well lived, well loved and well done. Carpe Diem!
