F. Joseph McGovern, Jr. of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on March 29, 2018. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey to F. Joseph, Sr. and Helen McGovern. Joe moved to Fort Myers in 1973.
Joe leaves behind his wife of 16 years, Carol McGovern, his sons Joe (Carey) and Steve (Wendy); his step children Chris Batista, Joy Heying (Dean) and Corey Batista. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his brother John Ryan.
A private family service is scheduled at a date to be determined.
