Frank Trifon Vasiloff
August 24, 1925 – June 5, 2018

Lifelong resident of Ft. Myers peacefully passed away June 5, 2018.  Family includes his daughters, Susan (John) Carter of Tampa; Mary Gay (Jim) Morris; and son Dan (Anita) Vasiloff and their mother, Mary Ann Woodruff of Ft. Myers; grandchildren: Kate (Chris), Michael (Alison), & Ann Marie Pritchard, James (Marvel), & Madalyn Morris; Johnathan & Caroline Carter; & Cameron Vasiloff;  3 great-grandchildren: Evelyn, Bo & Rowan.
He was pre deceased by his parents, Ida Raby Vasiloff Bright & Charles Vasiloff and his beloved granddaughter, Victoria.

Graduate of Ft. Myers High in 1943 and Emory University where he received the prestigious Marion Luther Brittain Award.   During WW II, he was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, received a Purple Heart pendant, Normandy Medal of the Jubilee of Liberty; and numerous other medals.
He was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church, past youth leader and sang in the choir for many years.  He began his career as an educator teaching and serving as Principal in Powder Springs, Georgia & Englewood, Florida, then moved back to his hometown of Ft. Myers and dedicated 28 years as Deputy Clerk of Circuit Courts, Lee Cty. Court House.   His community activities included:  Englewood Recreation Dept. Youth Director, Boy Scouts, Ft. Myers Little Theater, Allen Park PTA President, Meals on Wheels, Lee Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Kiwanis & Aktion Club, Lion’s Club, and Enumerator for U.S. Census Bureau.  He enjoyed classical music, theater, reading, Coca Colas, oatmeal cookies and ice cream.  He cherished his family and loved getting everyone together.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 9th at 3 pm. at the Hope Hospice Chapel, 2430 Diplomat Pkwy East, Cape Coral, with family receiving visitors at 2:00 p.m.
