Gale Lynn McPheron

Gale Lynn McPheron, at the young age of 62, died peacefully on November 12, 2018 at Tampa General Hospital with family by her side.

Gale was born June 27, 1956 in Detroit Michigan to Charles R. & Donna M. McClain. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1974 and proceeded on to Terra State Technical College graduating with an Associate’s degree. Gale used her caring, knowledge and expertise in her field to help many people while working at the Homeless Coalition in Port Charlotte, Fl.

She leaves behind her fiancé, Kevin McGary, her daughter Deanna Harvey of Georgetown, Ky, her sister Michelle Kilgore, her brother Edwin (Jenny) McClain, 6 grandchildren 3 nieces, and 1 nephew. Gale loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with her fiancé, her many friends and her three dogs Molly, Bo and Spike. She was deeply loved and touched the hearts of many.

A private family ceremony will take place at a later date. Arrangements for Gale’s care have been entrusted to Harvey-Engelhardt Funeral Home in Fort Myers, Florida.
