George Allen Ball

George Allen Ball, MD was born in Fort Myers on December 30, 1949 and died April 9, 2022.

Predeceased by parents Edward James Ball and Jane Wood Ball and sister Jane Ball Carroll.

Survived by his wife Jane Grace Ball, his son George Allen Ball, Jr., daughter Eleanor Grace Ball and his brother James Edward Ball. 

Aly graduated from Fort Myers High School in 1968, from the University of Florida in 1972, and Tulane University Medical School in 1976.  He practiced medicine in Lee County for 40 years and retired in 2019.  He loved and cared for many community members.  Aly was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, golf, the Florida Keys, and anything on the water!

The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date.
