Harry Shapiro

Harry Shapiro, 93, WWII Vet, passed away peacefully at Hope Hospices’ Joanne’s House on August 16, 2018. He was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1925. He was preceded in death by his beautiful and loving wife Claire. He is survived by predeceased son Ed (Sally), sons David (Linda) and Alan (Risa), grandchildren Daniel (Laurie), Jay, Stephanie (Derek), Pammie, Rachel and Evan, great-grandchildren Ava, Olivia, Milo, and Nora.

Harry was always a giver of his time to others. He was a long-time volunteer at Health Park in the Mended Hearts program and many other organizations. Funeral services will be held at Temple Beth El, 16225 Winkler Road, Fort Myers, FL At 10:00 a.m. on Monday August 20, 2018.
