JIM WAS A GOOD FRIEND AND I WILL MISS HIS HUMOR AND JOKES. I TAUGHT WITH HIM AT ALC AND AT LAMS WHERE WE WERE OFTEN IN DUTCH. HE WAS ONE OF THE MOST CREATIVE TEACHERS I HAVE EVER KNOWN.
I DID NOT LEARN OF HIS PASSING UNTIL THE 14th of AUGUST.
WE OFTEN TRADED E-MAILS JOKES AND SUCH AND I WILL MISS HIM GREATLY.I LIVE IN WISCONSIN IN THE NORTH WOODS AND ONLY LEARNED FROM JAN STEUBER AND SUE ABOUT HIS PASSING.

I will always remember Jim as one of those who welcomed me to the Lehigh Acres Middle family over 30 years ago. He will be be remembered for his leadership and his laughter.
We will miss you!

My heart aches for your entire family. Jim was a good friend in high school, so much fun to be around. I was glad to be able to keep up with him these past few years on Facebook. Let your good memories give you comfort in the difficult days ahead and know that many are thinking of you.

Dear Dad

Dear dad you have been the most essential part of my world
You held my hand when I was small
And would catch me when I would I fall

Through these years when I needed you
I had you by my side.
You helped me learn to be strong
and stand on my two feet.

You also captured your granddaughter’s hearts
With your words of wisdom and that twinkle in your eye

I know no matter what
Your spirit will always be with me

So thank you dad for all you did
And for loving and never giving up on me.
You showed me just how special and powerful
A fathers love can be.
