Jane Elizabeth Dekreon passed with her husband and family by her side on Wednesday February 12th, 2020 in her 49th year. She was born March 3rd, 1970 in Ottawa, Illinois and most recently resided in Ft. Myers, Florida.
Jane was a fun loving, spirited, unique individual with a contagious smile that immediately illuminated the room. She lived every day to the fullest and always had a positive outlook on life. Her passions included spending time at the beach, playing with her beloved bulldogs, Jasper and Gypsy, as well as designing a welcoming atmosphere in her home. She was employed for 21 years at Target, her second home, where she made numerous friends that are considered family. Jane was an amazing culinary savant and loved preparing extraordinary dishes for hosting friends and family. Jane touched so many lives and will be dearly missed by whoever had the privilege of spending time with her.
She is survived by her husband Mark Fischer, her mother Jill Dekreon and sister Kerryln Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Dekreon and brother Tommy Dekreon. Also preceded in death by her beloved dogs Pup, Kenzie and Jackson and Elvis the cat.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Harvey Engelhardt Funeral and Cremation Services located at 1600 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida. Visitation will begin on Saturday after 1:00 p.m. in the reception area and a gathering will follow the Funeral Service until 4:00 p.m. to greet relatives and friends.
