Jeanne Hofmann passed away on May 19, 2017 at the age of 85. She was born and raised in Ogden, Kansas the daughter of Edward and Ester Murray.
She was preceded in death by her childhood sweetheart Jack Hofmann. Jack and Jeanne raised their family in Detroit, Michigan, where Jack was employed by the Ford Motor Company and Jeanne was a homemaker. In 1985, they retired to Ft. Myers, Florida. Both loved the ocean, Florida sunshine and golf.
Jeanne was active in church and community affairs. She served on a variety of boards and worked as a hospital volunteer. She was a good athlete and an avid golfer, winning club championship awards. Over the years she created a long list of beautiful craft and artwork. Most importantly, she brightened the lives of anyone who had the privilege to know her.
She is survived by her sons: Steve, Mark and Gary, her grandsons: Adam, Alex, Chris, Collin, Kyle and the late Ryan and by her brother James Murray and long time friend Joe Bick
Memorial service will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at Harvey-Engelhardt Funeral Home, 1600 Colonial Blvd., Ft. Myers Florida
