John “Pat” Hagan passed away on December 27, 2021 due to complications from advanced Parkinson’s disease. He was born in Fort Myers at Lee Memorial Hospital on May 22, 1951. He attended Fort Myers High, graduating in 1969. Pat attended the University of Georgia and graduated in 1975 with a Bachelor’s degree in general business. Pat was predeceased by his parents Marion and Julie Hagan and his brother, Jules “Red” Hagan. He is survived by brothers Mike (Wanda) and Sam (Merryl), nephews and nieces Sam IV, Jon, Michael, Julie, Patrick, Deborah, Rene, and Robin and grandnieces and nephews Holly, Sarah, Harper, Sophie, Hadley, and Jules. His work included involvement in the seafood business in Fort Myers and the art business while residing in Montana. Pat lived in Fort Myers until the mid-nineties, at which time he moved to Montana. In 2017 he returned to Fort Myers where he resided until his passing. Among many activities, Pat was involved in fundraising for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. He is, and will be missed by his family and many friends. Pat’s wishes were to be cremated and for his ashes to be interned in the Columbarium at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Fort Myers.
