John Gordon Tamblyn

John (Jack) Gordon Tamblyn, 75, of Fort Myers, FL passed away on November 27, 2022 after a sudden illness. He was originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan and had been a resident of Fort Myers, Florida for 35 years.
Jack was a graduate of Western Michigan University (Go Broncos!) and made his career in the banking industry. He was an avid boater and diver and also loved to travel the world with his beloved wife of 29 years, Heidi Colgate-Tamblyn.
Jack will be dearly missed by his wife Heidi, as well as his daughter Stephanie Weed, son John (daughter in law Danielle) Tamblyn, and granddaughter, Madeline Weed, as well as sisters, Peggy (Dennis) Glick and Nancy (Bill) Wayland and several nieces, a nephew, and great- nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, E. John and Barbara Tamblyn.
Jack will be remembered for living life to the fullest. A Celebration of Life in his honor will be held in March of 2023. His ashes will be scattered at sea following the cremation, in accordance with his wishes.
