Julia Murac

Julia A Murac, 79 of Fort Myers Beach, FL and formally from New Britain, CT passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday September 11, 2018.

Julia, aka “Judy”, was born May 6, 1939 in New Britain to Paul and Philomena (Angelillo) DeAngelo.
Julia worked several jobs during her life time. She worked at the state of CT Capital building, she worked at CCSU in the records/transcript department, worked at Tropical Sands Resort on Fort Myers Beach, as well as various retail jobs throughout her working career.

Julia enjoyed and had a lifelong passion for thrift store and tag sale shopping as a hobby. She would be excited to find hidden treasures and share them with others. Julia was at her best while spending time with her family. She absolutely loved family gatherings you could see the joy in her eyes throughout the years during these gatherings for holidays, special events, and many times unplanned get togethers. Julia’s house was always open and many times the main gathering place for the entire extended family. Wonderful memories of these gatherings will not be forgotten for those of us she leaves behind.

Julia was a beautiful, kind, loving, and caring mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and dear friend to her entire family and others that knew her through out her life. She loved her husband, sons, daughter in law and grandchildren greatly. Julia will be truly missed daily by her family and friends.
Julia leaves behind her two sons, Paul of Fort Myers Beach FL, Robert, Jr. and his wife Evelyn of Cape Coral FL, her grandchildren Pamela of Cromwell CT, James and his wife Natalie of Woodbury CT, and her sister Bernadette of Charleston RI.

Julia was preceded in death by her husband Robert Sr. and parents Paul and Philomena.

A private family viewing will be Friday September 21, from 1-2 pm. A memorial service and celebration of life will be scheduled at a future time.
