Loving Mother and Grandmother
Fort Myers Fl. Lois S. Miller, 82 years old, of Fort Myers, Florida died of Parkinson’s disease on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1st, 2019 at Page Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Myers where she resided over 12 years.
Lois was born in Flushing, NY, on May 18, 1936, the daughter of Oliver and Marion (Cardone) Smith. She was a graduate of Painted Post High School and the Robert Packer Hospital School of x-ray technology in Sayre, Pa. She was married to Richard A. Miller of Painted Post for 52 years. Richard predeceased her in 2009. Lois and family moved to Fort Myers following the flood of ‘72.
Lois is survived by her five sons and their families: Thomas (Lori) Miller of Fort Myers, Richard Miller of Fort Myers, Anthony (Cindy) Miller of Lakeland, Joseph (Christine) Miller of Cape Coral, Nicholas (Rhonda) Miller of Cape Coral, and her sister Joan (Smith) Quigley of Canandaigua NY. Lois is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great-granddaughters, 4 step great grandchildren, 3 nephews and 2 nieces.
A special funeral Mass will be held in Our Loving Mothers honor on Friday, Jan. 18th at 10 am at the Church of the Resurrection on Cypress Lake Drive Fort Myers, Fl.
