Marc Joseph Tramontano passed away early June 5, 2022 in Fort Myers, Florida. He was a radiant person and was loved by all he met. He lived the most beautiful life although it wasn’t always easy.
Marc was born on February 3, 1976 in Brooklyn, NY to Nick and Margie Tramontano and was welcomed home by older brother, Nick Jr. (Sarah). Marc loved being around his close family, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. They can always recount a time he was making some one laugh, getting into mischief, or playing a Billy Joel song on the keyboard, and he loved his mother’s cooking! Marc could match any song he heard then play the piano, harmonica, and sing to sound just like it!
In 1983, the Tramontano Family moved to Cape Coral, FL where Marc would come to meet many of his closest friends and would develop into the man we know and love. He learned to scuba dive and golf. Marc loved the outdoors, although not always the Florida heat! He loved going to the beach and sitting with his Mom by the pool. Marc worked closely with his father for their auto paint touch up company. He dubbed himself “The Best Touch Up Guy in SouthWest Florida!”
In 1997, Marc’s niece, Sydney Tramontano, was born and he immediately felt a bond to her. He saw all the good features of himself when he looked at her. Marc loved to take her out and “show her off” to all his friends and family. He was the proudest uncle Sydney could’ve ever asked for! He taught her how to throw a baseball and read music. They loved watching movies together and performing for their family. Most importantly he always instilled in her that she could be a strong girl and he would always support her.
Marc will be dearly missed by all who knew him. We share the hope of seeing him again as the strong, joyful man we all knew him to be (John 5:28, 29). You will forever be in our hearts Marc, and we can’t wait to hold you again.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 25th at 2PM at the Harvey Engelhardt Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Myers. IN lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial contribution in Marc's memory to:
