Mark Andrew Roll was born February 8, 1958 in Auburn, Washington and passed away on March 13 in Lehigh Acres, Florida.
He grew up in Auburn, Washington, graduating in 1976 from Auburn High School, where he played electric guitar in the jazz band. He was an accomplished musician, playing lead guitar for many blues and rock and roll bands through the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
At a bluegrass festival in northwest Washington, he met Sara Kelley, whom he later married. Although they eventually divorced, they remained friends until his death.
Mark lived in Washington, Kansas, and Florida, spending his career in construction and trucking. He will be remembered as a loving son and brother and fun-loving friend.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Roll of Onalaska, WA, siblings Rick (Barb), Deb (Dave), Patty, and Mike, and numerous nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard H. Roll Sr.
