Mary A. Bryant (Vigliano) went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 9, 2018 in Fort Myers, Florida at the age of 88.
Mary was born on 10/08/1929 to Felix Vigliano and Margaret Vigliano (Marchetti). Mary graduated from Yarmouth High School in 1947. She participated in Sports and the band playing the trumpet. In the summer during her high school years she worked at the Lighthouse Inn in West Dennis Beach. After graduating from high school, Mary set out to New York City with three girlfriends and attended Barbizon School for modeling. She then became a waitress at various restaurants and resorts along the southeastern coast. During that time Mary met her husband at a restaurant they both worked at in St. Petersburg, FL. Two months later they were married in Savannah, Georgia on March 29, 1929, which sent them on a 69 year journey together.
Mary is predeceased by her beloved husband, William P “Bill” Bryant, Jr. Mary is survived by her four children; Kimberly (Bryant) Arlington and husband David Arlington, Lisa (Bryant) Groff and husband Michael Groff, William Paul Bryant III and wife Joan Bryant, Bonne (Bryant) Bete; 14 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. She is also predeceased by her brother Leonard G. Vigliano, who is survived by his two daughters; Valerie Skinner and Jennie Vigliano Renault.
In the early 1960s she and her family moved to Yarmouth, MA. where she started her business, Bryant Interiors providing quality custom made drapes and window treatments. She continued in this business until her retirement in the 1990s. She then traveled with her husband to many destinations via the motorhome lifestyle. One special trip oversees was taken to Italy to visit many of her relatives and see the sights.
Mary was a born again Christian and served as a Sunday school teacher and Youth Leader. She was Superintendent of the preschool Department at the Gospel Center in St. Petersburg, FL. She supported numerous missionaries around the world.
A private Burial will be at the National Cemetery Sarasota, Florida. A memorial will be held at later date.
