Nancy Mattingly

Nancy Lain-Mattingly, 67, of Ft. Myers passed away Wednesday April 21, 2021 at her home. She was born in Joliet, IL in 1953 to James and Frances Counts. She moved to Ft. Myers at a young age and graduated from Cypress Lake High School in 1971. Nancy married Bruce Lain in 1973 who preceded her in death in 1985. Nancy worked at Health Park Hospital for many years as a surgical technician and retired in 2004.
Survivors include her husband Michael Mattingly of Ft. Myers, three children; Brad (Stephanie) Lain of Castleberry, Fl, Stefanie (Corey) Matter of Cape Coral, Fl, Scott (Megan) Lain of Ft. Myers, Fl, two step children; Roger (Julie) Mattingly of Trenton, KY and Vanessa Mattingly of Louisville, KY, Brother Richard Counts of Ft. Myers, and 10 grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, Saturday April 24, 2021 at the family home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alvin A.
