Patricia Sharp

November 7, 1936 ~ November 22, 2017 (age 81) 81 Years Old

Patricia L Sharp (Patty) 11/7/36-11/22/17

Pat was born on November 7, 1936 in Barre, Vermont to Ernest F. and Bertha Letter. She reunited in eternal life with her beloved husband Charles on November 22, 2017 in Fort Myers, Florida.

Pat married the love of her life Charles Sharp (Chuck) on January 3, 1956. Their love was a true love story. Pat and Chuck moved to Florida in 1958 and made Fort Myers their home. For more than 60 years, they both made and shared a lifetime of memories. Pat was the greatest woman I have ever known. A loving wife, a hard worker, and a loyal friend. She was tough, but being the little sister in a family of boys, she had to be. This toughness stayed with her throughout her life. It was part of what attracted her husband Chuck to her. She fought for what she wanted and those that she loved. Pat was the type of person that let you know if she needed something, and when she did ask for something, you'd better get it right away. Hearing stories about how Pat met Chuck always made me smile. From cheering him on at his basketball games to skinny dipping in the pond. There was never a dull moment in their lives. From high school on, Chuck and Pat were hooked on each other. She would write postcards to let him know about their children and how they were enjoying the beach. She would write about how much she missed him and how thankful she was for him. Pat gave her all when it came to love. She also gave her all while playing the birds at the American Legion. I will miss walking into a room with her, because she could light up a smile on everyone's face. The kind, loving, and feisty woman Pat was will always be remembered in our hearts. I can hear her right now saying, "Don't cry because I'm gone. Have a beer and be happy you knew me. I love you a bushel and a peck." She leaves behind her daughters Vicki (Ron) Sites, Pam (Ray) Agostino, Marla (Barry) Clawson, her son Jay (Marsha) Sharp; her grandchildren, Brian (Kristin) Sites, Danny (Mandy) Sites, Jessica (Matt) Sites, Nicole (Jimmy) Zellman, Ashley (Brian) Pledger, Clay Clawson, Caitlyn (Kolby) Mann, Emilee (Collin) Noel; and many great grandkids.

Pat and Chuck are now together forever.
