Pedro Correa Joined his Lord on Sunday Oct 16th, 2022. He passed away at Orchid Cove Rehab Center in LaBelle FL at the age of 98. He had been a resident of Seven Lakes in Ft. Myers FL.
Pedro was born on July 8th, 1924, in Rio de Janeiro Brazil to parents, Pedro and Maria Correa. He was the oldest of four children who continued residence in Brazil.
He was married to the love of his life, Jean Monroe Correa, for over 60 years. They enjoyed over 80 cruises together. Pedro completed a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Manufacturing once arriving in the United States. He was first employed as a certified wielder within the Southern Florida region and was later employed by the US Government in the Postal Division.
His hobbies included dancing, the Seven Lakes Choir, volunteering at Edison-Ford Estate and also the Repertory Theater, Ft. Myers. In later years Pedro became a Notary, assisting the Brazilian population with legal translations, as well as performing marriages. Pedro leaves his son Peter Correa and two grandchildren; Jordan of New York and Adam Correa of California, as well as many local friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean.
A Celebration of Life will be on November 5th, 1pm to 4pm, at the Seven Lakes Auditorium 1965 Seven Lakes Blvd. Ft. Myers, FL.
