Phillmon Stephen Plaskon Sr., 87, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on October 18, 2020. Phillmon was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on December 15, 1932.
Phillmon grew up and lived in Bayonne, New Jersey. As a young man, he had traveled with his father to Florida, and always dreamt of living amongst palm trees and tropical weather year round. He served in the United States Armed Forces from 1950 to 1954 including the US Marine Corps., US Navy and US Air Force. After being honorably discharged for serving his country, he met his beloved wife to be.
Once marrying and starting a family, they continued to live in Bayonne, NJ until 1985 when he moved his beloved family to Boca Raton, Florida. He had finally realized his dream of raising his family in the Florida sunshine. Phillmon considered his role as a family man to be his greatest accomplishment.
They lived in Boca Raton until April of 2020 when the family moved to Ft Myers Florida where he enjoyed living out the rest of his life. His passions included fishing and golfing. Most importantly, he will always be remembered as the life of the party around family and friends.

Interment will take place at Sarasota National Cemetery.
