Robert J. Hanlon, Jr.

Robert Hanlon, known as Bob or Pop Pop, died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday morning January 12, 2020.  He was born on March 3, 1929 to Emily Gallager Hanlon and Robert Hanlon, Sr.

He served in World War II as a gunner. He worked for many years as the office manager at Axton Chemical Company. He leaves behind his wife of 66 years Ann Burley Hanlon and his six children: Mary Hanlon Samsen and her husband Paul, Bobby Hanlon who predeceased him, Richard Hanlon, John Hanlon and his wife Caroline, Paul Hanlon and his wife Kristen and James Hanlon and his wife Mary. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, his sister Marion McGann and many nieces and nephews.
