Robert John Lesko

Robert John Lesko, 79, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 15, 2019. Robert John “Poppy” Lesko was born to John and Mary Lesko in Munhall, Pennsylvania on August 10, 1940. Bob, a sanitation worker moved from New Haven, Connecticut in 1981. He was previously married to Judy DeMatteo and Judith DeNigris. He served in the United States Army and enjoyed his cats, crosswords puzzles, finding a good deal and visiting with his family. Bob is survived by his twin boys Anthony (Crystal) and Brian Lesko, Frank Konners (Susan), Tricia (Tony), his brother Richard (Mary Beth), grandchildren Weston, Ashley, Brianna (Jacob), Anthony, Hayden, Logan, Ashton, Michael, Devyn and Geoffrey, Great Granddaughter Isabella and many others he loved as his own family. He is preceded in death by his father John, mother Mary, Wife Judith, daughter Janice and stepfather Floyd. A funeral Mass will be held at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Fort Myers at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Robert’s name to the Harry Chapin Food Bank or the American Cancer Society.
