Robert Richard Melzer Jr

Robert (Bob) Richard Melzer, Jr, 50, of Ft. Myers passed away Friday November 20, at his home. He was born in 1970 in Peekskill, NY to Robert Richard Melzer, Sr. and Patricia Ann (nee Rogan) Melzer. Bob graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Landscaping. He worked for R.L. Walsh Landscaping in Ft. Myers as a Landscape Architect. Bob enjoyed vacationing with his family in the Mountains and Disney. He also enjoyed his annual fishing trips and craft brewing with friends. He will be remembered as an artistic and creative individual who was a huge Gator football fan.
Survivors include his daughter Katlin Melzer of Ft. Myers, mother Patricia Melzer of Kissimmee, Fl, two sisters Maureen Melzer of Kissimmee, Fl and Barbara (Melzer) Lopez-Silvero, of Ocoee, Fl.
He was preceded in death by his son Darren Melzer and his father Robert Richard Melzer, Sr.
