Sharon Lee Spainhower was born in St. Paul, Mn. on November 11th, 1943. She was adopted by Herbert and Florence Meschke on October 14th, 1944 and her name was legally changed to Sharon Lee Meschke.

She received her associates degree to become a certified typist and stenographer holding office manager jobs throughout her lifetime.  Sharon met the love of her life, Frank when mutual friends introduced them.  They were married November 2, 1963 and welcomed a son, Bryan on June 30, 1971 and a daughter, Rachelle on February 26, 1973.   Frank predeceased her in 2003.

Growing up riding horses on the family farm, Sharon gained an appreciation for gardening, animals and all things outdoors.  She had a gift for baking and loved to share that with others. Throughout her life Sharon and her family loved traveling. In retirement she continued traveling around the country with various RV groups, especially LoW’s (Loners on Wheels).

Sharon was a very spiritual woman, a devoted Lutheran enjoying many activities within her church. Including singing in the choir and quilting with her friends at Zion Lutheran. Sharon always thought about others before herself and was a truly giving spirit.
