Steven C Broughton

Steven Charles Broughton, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, with family by his side at Joanne’s Hospice House in Bonita Springs, FL. Steve leaves behind his wife, Janet; daughters Wendy Hirsch (Scott), Amy Finley (Derek); step-son Brian Markowicz (Aleena); grandchildren Ethan Hirsch, Davis Hirsch, and Makinlee Markowicz; and sisters Linda Nye (David) and Nancy Sheeler (Skip). Steve was born July 24, 1941, and resided in Ohio, Michigan, and Florida. He received both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Ohio State University and remained a life-long Buckeye. After a long career with NBD/JP Morgan Chase, he retired and continued to use his financial expertise by volunteering in multiple organizations.

As a proud Army veteran, Steve chose to be buried at the Sarasota (FL) National Cemetery. Burial will take place on September 24, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
