Donna Marie Pallotta Lowe passed away suddenly on Monday, March 31, 2014 in Ft. Myers, Florida.  She died peacefully, surrounded by her family.  Donna was born on July 23rd, 1957 in Morristown, NJ.  She graduated from Pompano Beach High School in 1975. She attended college at Broward Community College.  At the time of her death, Donna was a PD Coordinator for ExploreLearning. 
 
Donna was a lover of nature and of all living things.  Donna’s kind heart and generous spirit was felt by everyone who came in contact with her.  She was a giver, always thinking of others before herself.  Donna’s last unselfish act was to donate her organs and her family is proud that she has saved multiple lives because of this.

She was a devoted animal lover, a selfless protector of all animals.  From the time she was a child up until her death, Donna improved the lives of each of the many creatures that crossed her path. She spent many hours on weekends and holidays volunteering at the animal shelter, tending to her beloved terminally ill cats.  She worked tirelessly to help homeless animals, making sure they had food, providing them with medical care, and getting them neutered to help reduce the stray population.  She fiercely protected animals and continually stepped in when others turned away.  She was a force, and the number of animals whose lives she has saved is inspiring.  
 
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Kresten Allen Lowe of Ft. Myers, FL, her devoted and loving parents, Louis and Emily Pallotta of Morris Plains, NJ, her loving sister, Gigi Pallotta of Morris Township, NJ and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and pets.   A memorial tribute to Donna will be planned at a later date.
