Ronald “Ron” L. Loudermilk was born on January 13, 1939 in Sullivan County, Indiana to his parents Claud and Mary G. (Meek) Loudermilk. He passed away on February 2, 2017 in Fort Myers, FL at the age of 78.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Annette (Umberger) Loudermilk; children Mandy (Brian) Merrill and Mindy (Michael) Boyett; grandchildren Kristin (Grant) Balbach, Hillary Merrill, Thomas Merrill, and Zach Boyett; brother Mike (Karla) Loudermilk; aunts Ann and Artie Meek; and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Ron loved to spend his time working with his hands. Whether it was working on a project or his garden railroad system, he was happy working. He graduated from Sullivan High School, IN in 1957. Ron committed his working career to General Motors for over 27 years until his retirement in 1993.
