Earl “Curley” Frederick Gill, Age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Healthpark Medical Center in Fort Myers, Florida. Earl was born December 21, 1953 in Canton, OH to Carl Gill (father) and Mildred Gill Curry (mother). Earl was a graduate of Jackson High School in Massillon, OH in 1972, later receiving his Associates Degree in 1975 from Valencia Community College in Orlando, FL. Most recently, Earl worked in business development for Chris-Tel Construction doing what he did best, developing relationships. Earl also displayed his true love for Ohio sports by attending a Cleveland Browns game every year in Cleveland with his brother and other family members. He loved spending time with his family always reminding everyone saying, “Family First”, along with attending and organizing annual family reunions.
Earl is survived by his three kids, Jesse Gill, Joey Gill and Katie (Gill) Wood, brother Carl (Butch) Gill, sisters Carol (Cookie) Davis and Susan (Susie) Gill Jackson, grandchildren Sawyer and Kallen Gill along with countless extended family members.
Family, friends and others who knew Earl are invited to attend a celebration of life followed by a reception at Alico Arena located at FGCU Lake Parkway East, Fort Myers, FL on Saturday November 16, 2019 from 9am to noon. Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be provided.
