I thought of my friend, Harry, today, and looked up his name, online, hoping and praying that I wouldn't find this. I am so fortunate to have known Harry. I met him, while working at Southeast Bank, in Sarasota. He was a mentor and friend to my first husband, and he became a dear friend. He and Betty Lou gifted us an antique desk, for our wedding, and it still sits this day, in my home. It is a treasure to me, and my family. I loved him, and hope his family is comforted by the joy he brought many people.

My Uncle Harry was one of a kind. He was a quiet, caring, loving, beautiful on the inside & out man. He loved playing his piano & became a painter later in life. How lucky I felt when he gave me one of his paintings when visiting him (he didn't think his paintings were good enough to give to anyone). I treasure that painting! I have such wonderful memories of him & am so very glad he was part of our family.💞
